Each cat at Crash's Landing has a unique personality and a unique story. You can learn where they came from and also what they need to be successfully placed in a home.

Ranchero has a specific placement need which is different from many at Crash's Landing. Help us find a home for him!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Ranchero.

Ranchero was born in the spring of 2013. He was first found wandering around a Kentwood apartment complex and has been a bit of a challenge from the start.

Ranchero definitely has a grumpy side, but he has a sweet side too. What he needs is someone who can spend time with him, build trust with him and give him the love and attention he deserves.

When Ranchero first arrived at Crash's Landing he spent a couple of months hanging around away from the more social cats. Over time he has warmed up, but he is a cat who wants a little space and needs a home that can provide it for him.

Please adopt Ranchero!
