Olympia first came to Crash's Landing in August after a dramatic rescue. She was saved from traffic in an intersection.

Now, she is ready to join a loving home. Adopt Olympia from Crash's Landing.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is "Purrrfect Friday," where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home. This week, we're spotlighting Olympia.

Olympia came to Crash's Landing in August 2014, after an Alto resident saved her from traffic.

Olympia had been hit by a vehicle. Her right rear leg was injured and had to be amputated.

Crash's Landing gave her all the care she needed, just as they have done for hundreds of other cats.

Olympia has also been diagnosed with Feline Idiopathic Cystitis, which has put her on a special diet.

Even with the injury and diagnosis, Olympia has not lost her energy. She is a very social cat and would love to join your family!
