The new year is a time for big change. This year, spread the positive changes around by bringing home a cat who needs your help. Adopt Nessarose from Crash's Landing!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Nessarose.

Nessarose came to Crash's Landing on October 27th, 2016, after they got a call at the clinic from a Meals On Wheels worker who found Nessarose hungry and flea-ridden. Often cats in that situation are shy about humans. That was not the case for Nessarose. She was thrilled to have human contact and Crash's Landing was thrilled to help her. They treated her for fleas and a mild case of flea allergy dermatitis, spayed the 2-1/2 year old (she was born in the spring of 2015) and also treated her for a leg injury.

Nessarose has been a big hit with the volunteers at Crash's Landing since day one! She is very social, a lot of fun and would love to meet you!
