Crash's Landing's Nena is barely over one year old, but she has a strong personality. That strong personality helped her survive winter on her own. Now she needs a home.

Please adopt Nena.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Nena.

Nena was found earlier this year around the Allendale campus of Grand Valley State University on January 11. She was shivering and brought to a dorm room for the night. The next day a call was placed to Crash's Landing and they took her in.

Nena was very hungry upon arrival, of course Crash's Landing fed her and took great care of her.

Nena was born in May of 2014. She is a feisty cat. She loves those who feed her, but otherwise she is a bit unpredictable. It would be best if she was placed in a home without small children.

Can you adopt Nena?
