This holiday weekend, give Mushka from Crash's Landing a reason to be thankful.

Adopt Mushka!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Mushka.

Mushka was born in March of 2009. In February 2013, the Humane Society of Southwest Michigan contacted Crash's Landing after they found him homeless and FIV positive.

Crash's Landing welcomed him to their facility just as they have done for hundreds of other FIV positive cats.

Muska was very shy and scared when he first arrived. Slowly, he is learning to trust and gaining confidence. Nothing would help him more than a home to call his own and an owner willing to spoil him with the time and love he deserves.

Can you adopt Mushka?
