This time of year bunnies get all of the attention, but there are a few sweet cats at Crash's Landing that need a place to stay.

Meet Messalla from Crash's Landing.

Can you adopt her?

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Messalla.

In September of 2012, Crash's Landing received a call about Messalla. A friend had found her just hours before in her backyard and Messalla was in poor shape.

Crash's Landing was able to get her in right away. Messalla was skinny, shy and weighed in at under 7 pounds. She had a nasty upper respiratory infection that was causing other problems.

Crash's Landing gave her food, a round of subQ fluids and a course of strong antibiotics. Soon Messalla had her strength back and was doing great!

Today, she's only missing one thing, a permanent home.

Can you adopt Messalla?
