There is still a lot of summer left and a lot of time to make memories with a new family member.

Adopt Mao from Crash's Landing!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Mao.

Mao was born in October 2003. He was found as a stray in 2005, then found a new home in 2008. Two months ago, Mao returned to Crash's Landing and is again in need of a loving family.

Mao is very social and gentle. He loves to find a lap to rest in and he never misses a meal. Mao is very quick to adapt making him a great cat to adopt. Someone will soon be very happy to make Mao a part of their family.

Can you adopt Mao?
