Lucky Charm has only been at Crash's Landing for a couple of months. If you hope to be lucky enough to get your hands on him, you better visit soon!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Lucky Charm.

Earlier this year, in late June, Crash's Landing received a call and letter from a woman who was helping a group of stray cats. Among the cats was one who had become badly injured. That cat was Lucky Charm. The woman spent over $600 to get him treated, but was unable to keep him permanently. Later, she contacted Crash's Landing and in mid-July they were able to take him in.

Lucky Charm was born in the spring of 2013.  His left ear had sustained a serious injury which permanently altered the way he looks. He also needed dental work and was treated with antibiotics for a skin infection.

After some time, Lucky Charm began to grow in confidence. He is playful, but not overly energetic. He would be a good fit for almost any home.

Please adopt Lucky Charm!
