Summer is a busy time for family reunions. A time to see familiar faces and some you haven't seen for years. We want to introduce you to Lina. She'd like to join your family.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Lina.

Lina was born in June of 2015. She was found outdoors and received care from a concerned friend of Crash's Landing. One day, Lina showed up with a bad back injury and it was time for her to be brought into Crash's Landing.

Lina received treatment at Crash's Landing. Her back healed nicely, but it was discovered that Lina was FIV+. A number of other ailments were also discovered.

Lina has been at Crash's Landing for less than two months. She is shy and reserved, but loves to be held. Once Lina enjoys good health and a place to call her own, she will really find a chance to shine.

Please adopt Lina!
