Leyland's stay at Crash's Landing hasn't been a long one, but that doesn't make his need for a permanent home any less urgent.

Please adopt Leyland from Crash's Landing!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Leyland.

Leyland was dropped at the doorstep of Crash's Landing on October 5, 2015.

Crash's Landing discovered Leyland was neutered, front declawed and in need of dental work. They extracted 4 problematic teeth, combed out his matted undercarriage, vaccinated and microchipped him.

Leyland was born in spring of 2011. He was a bit shocked at his new surroundings at first, but has slowly acclimated and he enjoys watching the chaos from a distance.

Leyland is ready for a new home. Can you adopt him?
