This photo is a good start, but once you meet John Monroe from Crash's Landing in person you'll be a believer in love at first sight.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting John Monroe.

This is John Monroe's second stay at Big Sid's at Crash's Landing. His first stay was just two months. Now he's back and needs a new home.

Crash's Landing always welcomes back cats that formerly stayed with them when the circumstances require it. It's never an easy choice to return a cat, but sometimes it's the best one and in the best interest of the cat.

That's exactly the case with John Monroe. Now, John is ready for a new start.

John Monroe's owner returned him after four years and John immediately adjusted to his surroundings once he was back at Crash's Landing. He is a very friendly cat and responds well to new places. He would be a perfect addition to your family!
