Humboldt's stay at Crash's Landing has been a short one, less than three months, but they have already grown quite attached to him.

While Crash's Landing loves having Humboldt around, what they really want for this friendly fellow is a fine home.

Can you adopt Humboldt?

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Humboldt.

Humboldt was first brought into Crash's Landing less than three months ago, on February 23. A friendly volunteer had been watching him for some time, but it took a while to get Humboldt to come along.

Once Humboldt finally did get close enough to be picked up he immediately showed just how friendly of a cat he is, no scratching, no struggle, Humboldt was just happy to be held.

Humboldt is FIV positive, but he is also one of the friendliest cats you will ever meet, so he poses little risk to other cats. Come to Crash's Landing and meet him for yourself!
