They say that ginseng is good for your heart and your mood.

That could also be said about Ginseng from Crash's Landing!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Ginseng.

Ginseng was born in late 2010. He was found homeless and brought to the Harbor Humane Society in October of 2013. Two months later he joined Big Sid's at Crash's Landing.

Ginseng is Feline Leukemia positive and didn't meet the requirements to stay at the other shelter. That's when Crash's Landing stepped in as they do so often.

Ginseng was initially shy, but he's past that now. He loves being around people and would make a great addition to your family.

Please adopt Ginseng!
