As flowers and trees begin to come out around West Michigan, we are hoping you'll give a once-homeless cat a chance to blossom.

Meet Gibson from Crash's Landing.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Gibson.

Gibson was born in late 2010. You can see he is a beautiful white cat, but he looked nothing like the photo you see here when he first arrived at Crash's Landing. Gibson needed a deep cleaning, otherwise he was very healthy.

Gibson loves to explore. He is independent, a bit of a free spirit. He also enjoys a little quiet time. Gibson could be a great addition to your family!

Please adopt Gibson.
