Flowers make summer a little brighter, but nothing like Daisy.

Adopt Daisy from Crash's Landing and make it a year to remember!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Daisy.

Daisy was first at Crash's Landing ten years ago. She lived happily in the home Crash's Landing found for her for nine years, but her owner asked to bring Daisy back in when it became too difficult to care for her. Of course, Crash's Landing welcomed her back.

Crash's Landing cleaned Daisy's teeth, treated her skin for an allergic dermatitis and removing an undiagnosed ear polyp that was causing her quite a bit of pain, along with a nasty middle ear infection.

That was just last month, but already Daisy is back to her old self. Daisy is an outgoing, confident cat who would be best placed in a home where she can be the only cat. She loves the attention!

Please adopt Daisy!
