It's the most wonderful time of the year...to adopt a cat!

Adopt Cilla from Crash's Landing!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Cilla.

Cilla was born in March of 2014. She arrived at Crash's Landing in October of 2016 after being found homeless and wandering in a Wyoming neighborhood.

Cilla was easy to find, she is VERY vocal, but she was harder to bring in. It took over two months for a friend of Crash's Landing to convince Cilla to come with her. Once Cilla came indoors, she was brought to Crash's Landing.

Cilla is very playful! She can entertain herself (and others) for hours with a ball or catnip mouse. It wasn't long before Cilla found a home after she first arrived at Crash's Landing, but two months ago she returned after the family that adopted her could no longer keep her. It was a sad turn of events for Cilla, but now a new opportunity awaits at a new home. Maybe your home.

Cilla would do best in an adult-only home where she is the only cat. She's a lot of fun, but she does enjoy attention too!

Please adopt Cilla!
