Summer is often a time for family reunions, but summer is also a great time to bring a new member into your family.

Welcome Chablis from Crash's Landing into your family!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Chablis.

Chablis was born in 2005. She came to Crash's Landing as a kitten, then was adopted in 2008. Chablis did great at her new home, but last year her owner was diagnosed with a terminal illness and Chablis returned to Crash's Landing.

Chablis has a thyroid condition which requires medication, but it is easily managed with twice-daily medicine and a cost of less than $20 every three months.

Chablis is enjoying being pampered at Crash's Landing, but there is nothing she would like more than a new place to call home.

Please adopt Chablis!
