Brimley had serious medical problems when he first came to Crash's Landing in 2012.

Brimley's health is much improved, but he still needs a home.

Please adopt Brimley.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Brimley.

Brimley was born in March of 2010. He came to Crash's Landing on September 4, 2012. He was FIV positive and also had diabetes.

It took a few weeks of heavy treatment to get Brimley's sugar levels in order. Then came the surprise when Brimley went into remission. He is no longer an active diabetic!

Brimley's blood sugar levels are still monitored on a regular basis, but he does not need treatment.

Let's keep the good news going for Brimley!

Please adopt Brimley.
