We'd like to introduce you to one of the most popular cats at Crash's Landing. A cat who is both friendly and affectionate, yet still needs a home. Meet Brendan from Crash's Landing!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Brendan.

Brendan arrived at Crash's Landing just before Christmas in 2015. Crash's Landing received a call from the Humane Society of Kent County asking if they had room for Brendan who had tested positive for Feline Leukemia.

Brendan was welcomed to Crash's Landing with open arms right around when he turned two years old. Brendan was neutered and vaccinated. He also received treatment for an ear infection. Lab work revealed a potentially life-threatening low level of white blood cells needed to fight off infection, so he received heavy-duty antibiotics.

Brendan is FELV+ and he is immunocompromised, but through it all Brendan has remained happy, handsome, outgoing and affectionate. He is truly one of the favorites of the volunteers at Crash's Landing, they love him but they are hoping he'll find that permanent home he deserves.

Please adopt Brendan!
