Autumn is here, but the changing leaves are behind schedule due to the warm temperatures we've been enjoying. That's good news for the future cats of Crash's Landing. Those who are stuck outdoors with no place to stay.

Bonita used to be outdoors with no place to stay, then Crash's Landing took her in. Can you give her a permanent home?

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Bonita.

Crash's Landing was first contacted about Bonita on March 21. Bonita had been wandering a northwest Grand Rapids neighborhood. Some neighbors had been feeding her then they discovered that Bonita was pregnant. One neighbor brought her into the vet to confirm the pregnancy where they also discovered that Bonita had Feline Leukemia.

Sadly, that wasn't the end of the bad news. Bonita gave birth to six cats, but only one survived. Crash's Landing stepped in to help, but Bonita still needs a permanent home.

Can you adopt Bonita?
