If Crash's Landing held a popularity contest for their cats, it's entirely possible that Beckham would win it.

Beckham is very popular at Crash's Landing.

Learn why YOU should adopt him!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Beckham.

Crash's Landing received a call about Beckham in 2015. Beckham's temporary owner was no longer able to keep him. She brought him into the veternarian before trying to find a home for him where he tested positive for FIV. That greatly limited the number of places and shelters that would consider taking Beckham, though FIV is only transmitted by deep puncture wounds via biting.

Crash's Landing took in Beckham and they have loved his company ever since. They say he "boasts internal beauty as well as an easy-going, laid-back style, gets along famously well with any cat he comes into contact with, and is so thrilled to be indoors that he simply soaks up his surroundings with pure contentment."
