Atta Boy needs your help. He's struggled through some tough medical issues, but remains a friendly cat who deserves a loving home.

Please help Atta Boy!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Atta Boy.

Atta Boy was born in 2011. He first came to Crash's Landing in May of 2013 and was suffering from a very nasty bite wound which caused swelling and scabbing from his elbow down to his wrist. X-rays showed that nothing was broken there, but his tail had suffering a dislocation.

Atta Boy was covered with scabs and scratches so it came as no surprise when he tested positive for FIV. Crash's Landing is one of the few places that accepts cats with FIV. They have a special home for them called Big Sid's Sanctuary.

Despite his rough start, Atta Boy is a very sweet cat who is ready for a new home.

Please adopt Atta Boy!
