Ascot was scheduled to be euthanized at another clinic last fall.

Crash's Landing was able to save Ascot, but now he needs a new home.

Please adopt Ascot.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Ascot.

Ascot was scheduled to be euthanized at another clinic, but Crash's Landing was able to step in to give him treatment and a home.

Ascot had a terrible bite wound on his face, the results of which can still be seen today. He also had a heavy flea infestation and a nasty untreated ear mite infection that caused both eardrums to rupture. He had broken and missing teeth and his paws were calloused.

Ascot now suffers from "pillow feet" which causes his paws to be permanently inflamed, but overall he is doing much better.

Ascot has a laid-back personality, but there is no doubt he is tough. He is also a survivor and deserves a family of his own.
