Some cats have simple names. Some cats require a more formal first and last name. Anthony Battailia from Crash's Landing is one of those cats!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Anthony Battailia.

Crash's Landing first heard about Anthony Battailia when they received a call in February asking for their help. Anthony is FIV positive and he had a rotting, frostbitten tail. He needed surgery and a shelter which could provide a home for an FIV positive cat. Crash's Landing stepped in to take care of both.

Anthony Battailia got the treatment and shelter he needed. Shortly after, he had a very contagious respiratory disease called Calicivirus. Again, Crash's Landing took care of him.

Anthony Battailia loves attention. He'd also love to have a home to call his own.

Can you adopt Anthony Battailia?
