As the leaves are change and temperatures cool quickly, Crash's Landing continues to do their part to make sure local cats have a safe and warm place to stay, but they need your help.

Adopt Andre from Crash's Landing!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Andre.

Andre arrived at Crash's Landing in January of 2008. They don't know where he came from since he just showed up at their door one day.

Crash's Landing immediately took him in.

Andre is very gentle and has fit in well, but he needs a home to call his own.

Andre is FIV positive. Crash's Landing is one of the only shelters which takes FIV positive cats. The only way Andre would be able to transmit the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus is through a deep bite wound. He is not a biter, which makes Andre a good fit for any home.

Can you adopt Andre?
