Adele is Healthy, and, Losing Weight
Her throat surgery went very well, and she is fully recovered. Her albums sell millions, she has a new home, and, a new love, and she’s even quit smoking. Life is really good right now for Adele.
Adele says she has never felt better, and that she is inspired to get healthier in other areas of her life, too — not just her voice. Now, she is making a conscious effort to get fit.
Adele wants to shed two dress sizes by this summer, so she’s been working out more than just her vocal cords. She’s hired a personal trainer to visit her at home twice a week and joined a Pilates class at the suggestion of her friend, British television personality Alan Carr. She and Carr even made plans to go running together with their dogs.
Let’s not assume, however, that Adele’s weight loss has anything to do with the media’s speculation on her size. She simply just wants more energy and to physically feel better. What a concept.
Adele also says that she doesn’t want to alienate her fans, some of whom embraced her not just for her huge voice, but for being confidant as is.
