A family pet can bring so much joy, especially when the pet you are adopting comes from Crash's Landing.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped over 2,500 cats, but there is still work to be done.

Please adopt Goliath.

Every Friday is Purrrfect Friday on 100.5 The River.  We feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.  This week we're spotlighting Goliath.

Goliath entered Crash's Landing on November 11, 2011, when he was driven 3.5 hours from Indiana to find a better home at Crash's Landing.

Goliath was born in the fall of 2006.  He is initially shy around new cats, but plays nicely once he gets used to them.  Goliath likes belly rubs and sitting up high to have a good view of everything going on.

Please consider adopting Goliath.  Learn more about him here.

In addition to adopting a cat, you can also help Crash's Landing by helping them win a prize worth $45,000!

Crash's Landing is one of five finalists to win $45,000 worth of construction or renovation from Erhardt Construction.  The winner will be decided by public vote.  Voting runs through August 17.  The winner will be announced on August 23.
