Saturday, September 29th will be a special day in Ada.  It's the Roselle Park River Festival and Grand River Run.

The River Festival is a special event designed to be fun and exciting for all ages with a wide range of activities, exhibits, music and snacks.

Located on the Grand River, Roselle Park is an ideal setting for people to enjoy being outside to celebrate our local rivers. Admission is free to the public, but donations would be appreciated.

They'll have Live Birds of Prey (Outdoor Discovery Center), live music (Kinsfolk, The Weatherheads, Tiki O'Riley), horse rides (Roanoke Ranch), native plant sale (River City Wild Ones), food (Marilyn's Malts & More), and more.

Also, all walking, hiking, and bicycling trails will be open as well as canoists and kayakers are welcome to arrive via the Grand River!

Meanwhile, runners of all levels will enjoy the Inaugural  GRAND RIVER RUN, designed to showcase the natural beauty at 240-acre nature preserve, Roselle Park, located along the banks of the Grand River in Ada, Township. The 8K race at 9 a.m. is professionally timed and the course consists of a combination of natural and paved trails, while offering runners scenic views of the entire park. Following the 8K is a 1.5 Mile Family-Friendly “Fun” Run along a flat, paved loop course which offers scenic view of the park. Children 5 and under run/walk free with a registered adult and will receive finisher’s ribbons.
