Edit (12pm) - Police have confirmed that the suspect's apartment is boobie trapped with several different chemicals and explosives. They have evacuated many surrounding buildings and have said that it will take them quite some time to clear the area and diffuse the situation.

A gunman, armed with not only guns, but teargas, turned what was supposed to be an enjoyable night at the movies into a nightmare. Early Friday morning, the man tossed tear gas into the theater in Auroroa, Colorado and then let loose with a spray of bullets, killing 12 people and injuring 38. Among those injured was a 3-month-old.
