Hot on the heels of a performance at the MTV Video Music Awards and release of his new single/video "She Came To Give It To You," Usher announced he will tour North America this fall.

He plans to bring the UR Experience to 27 cities. The dates include The Palace of Auburn Hills in suburban Detroit on Nov. 4 and United Center in Chicago on Nov. 17.

It is the Grammy Award winner's first headlining tour in three years.

His show will include a fresh take on early and recent songs from his 20-year career as well as new music from his anticipated forthcoming eighth studio album.

"With The UR Experience, I want to give my fans an ever-changing live show full of surprises and special guests," Usher said.

The UR Experience will kick off in Montreal on Nov. 1 at the Bell Centre and also includes New York, Los Angeles, Cleveland, Boston and Vancouver.

Special guests on the tour are to include August Alsina and DJ Cassidy.

Some market sales, including for Detroit and Chicago, begin Monday, Sept. 8, at 10 a.m.; with American Express card members having an opportunity to purchase tickets before the general public.
