The 2014 Grammy Awards aired tonight (Jan. 26), honoring the best in music over the last year and stationed at the Nokia theatre in Los Angeles.

The competition was stiff this year, with Justin Timberlake and Daft Punk back in the spotlight, competing against the likes of Pink, Sara Bareilles and more. Newcomers Lorde and Mackelmore + Ryan Lewis made a huge impact this past year, and as a result took home some of the most prestigious awards… like Song of the Year (‘Royals’) and Best New Artist, respectively.

In the pre-show, Zedd and the beautiful Foxes won Best Dancing Recording for ‘Clarity.’ Meanwhile, Bruno Mars beat out Justin Timberlake, Robin Thicke and Lorde for Best Pop Solo Album.
