It's still relatively early in terms of the flu season, but the 2013-14 flu season has been similar to last year's so far.

The chart below compares reports of flu-like symptoms at hospitals and offices around Michigan.

The 2012-13 flu season peaked around the end of 2012 and through January of 2013.

It's impossible to know if this year's flu season will continue to follow the same path, but it's good to know that the reports we've seen so far are near normal.
