It happened again.

The 100th Street bridge was struck by a mobile home this morning.

WZZM-13 says the bridge was struck just before 11:00 a.m. today in the right lane of northbound US-131.

The Michigan Department of Transportation says the driver did not measure his load before leaving. Police measured it at 14 feet, 6 inches. The bridge is posted as 13 feet, 11 inches. The driver was ticketed.

The bridge was not damaged other than some scratches from the paint of the mobile home.

The 100th Street bridge has now been struck 11 times in the last 17 months.
