Not only is it the Festival of the Arts in downtown Grand Rapids this weekend, but there are also a couple of concerts and plays, two different runs, a free dental clinic, a reptile & exotic pet show, and a chance to adopt a dog.

Some activities include the kids, while others are more for the adults.

Prodded by a female member of his defense team, the lawyer eventually makes a valiant effort to defend his clients and, in so doing, puts the military mentality and the Marine code of honor on trial.

    The Michigan Dental Association and the Michigan Dental Association Foundation are now working to organize an unprecedented statewide dental access program — the Michigan Mission of Mercy event, to be held at Calvin College in Grand Rapids. Approximately 2,500 patients are expected to be treated over the course of two days. Free dental services (see all services below) for all ages

    Everyone is welcome-no income limitations. Doors open at 6:00 am sharp. Doors CLOSE when maximum capacity is reached. Arrive early-be prepared for long lines. Services offered include Fillings, Cleanings, Extractions, and Education. EXCLUDES bridges, crowns, dentures, metal-based partial dentures, orthodontics or extraction of wisdom teeth.

    It’s the 48th Annual Festival of the Arts this weekend. This three-day community event features several stages of performances, a juried Regional Arts Exhibition, and dozens of food booths run by non-profit organizations. Plus, creative activities for children and adults to enjoy making their own art, as well as purchasing art from West Michigan artists. Every purchase at Festival --.from food to art to t-shirts and posters -- gives back to the West Michigan community.
